I had to take the truck in to the dealer to get a recall fixed. Originally Bill was going to drive with me and then I'd take him to school. Then I thought it would be a great way to get a run in, so I ran home after dropping the truck off.
I ran 2.06 miles in 20:38, for an average pace of 10:01. My splits were 10:03 and 9:59, so I was pretty consistent. The route had heavy traffic, but I stayed on the sidewalk and looked carefully at all the driveways. It was a pretty good run.
I would have taken a longer run to get more base miles, but I have training tomorrow and a race on Sunday, so I wanted to take it easy today.
