What a great day!
I was planning on keeping the fact that is was my birthday low key, but Angela and Za brought me a half dozen birthday balloons. Hard to hide them! I picked up some cupcakes at Oh Snap! for my Friday regulars. Deb brought cupcakes, Jen brought cupcakes. It was a cupcake kind of day! I think I'll be eating them for a while. Good thing I run!
I got to talk to Bill and thank him for the beautiful gift he sent. Swoon!
After work I went running shoe shopping with Cookie Amy and then we met Cherryl at Horizen for sushi. What a fun night! A great ending to a great day!
I also felt a ton of love from my facebook friends! It is really nice to get a birthday wish from someone you haven't thought about in years. I'd have to rank this as one of the best birthdays! The only thing that would have made it perfect would be if Bill had been able to be here with me. Oh well, there's always next year. And he's promised me a day of pampering and breakfast in bed!
