Rava is good

She came through the surgery with flying colors. The vet did find a hard spot in one of the fatty tumors he took off (which was around 4" in diameter) so he sent it off to be tested. The site under her arm was bleeding after I got her home. I was told to keep her from moving so I set up a dog crate. She was panting very heavily and wouldn't lay down. After a few hours I realized that she didn't pant so heavily when I let her outside, so I opened the crate. She walk out, went over to the tile and laid down. She didn't pant. So that was the solution. She didn't move around much at all last night and today seems to be doing just fine.

I'm not too surprised, as the lumps were between the skin and muscle. They didn't have to cut in to her too deeply and I am sure they used less anesthesia, because she recovered from that pretty quickly too. No barfs yesterday afternoon or evening (whew!).

She still doesn't seem that comfortable on the pillows. She is preferring the hard floor. That's fine with me; I just want her to be comfortable.
