At some point tonight while I was enjoying my dinner outside, pleased that there had been no incidents during the day, my luck changed. I saw Abby sniffing one of the dog beds. Then she looked at me open-mouthed. I checked the bed and sure enough, there was pee.
So I loaded up the pups and headed for home to do yet even more unanticipated laundry. I took the pillows from the living room and put plastic liners in them. Then I came back. I have seen Marco in the box, and it appears that he's doing something.
I just don't know what to do. I was very tempted to have just stayed at the house. Now I just want to go to bed and forget this day happened, but I'm paranoid the cats are going to do something. Maybe I'll get lucky and they won't.
