Sprints

I did my sprints today, since I "slept in" yesterday. I'm still not sleeping well, and there was great temptation to stay in bed again this morning. But I know that if I stay in bed, I'm not going to get any sleep; it will just be more time spent in a horizontal restless state. That reason and the motivation to do well Saturday got me up and out the door.

I did what Bill suggested the other day. I sprinted for 20 seconds then walked for 10 seconds. I repeated this seven more times. Then I ran the rest of the loop at my normal pace. I did do two other 20 second sprints along the way just for kicks. No walking until I completed the loop. So I was only running for about 11:30, but that's OK. It was a good workout for me.

Now I'm off to join some knitters and work on some socks. I have three on the needles. I need to get them going so I can start some other socks!
