Today was the first real day of retirement. I got up and rode my bike. Then I talked to Bill for a few minutes. Then I went and did some work. I had two sales on Artfire over the weekend, so I went to the storage unit and got the yarn and some shipping supplies. I went to the bank to deposit some money and pay some bills. That's about it. Wow. I sound like a slacker.
I went to dinner with the Kingrys tonight. We went to Mellow Mushroom. That was a lot of fun. I think Cherryl is going to come with me to New Orleans this weekend! It will be fun to have a friend around. I was going to go with Liz and Monie from the Humane Society, but Liz is staying out of the sun after a particularly bad episode of sun poisoning and Monie had to get stitches and isn't supposed to race. But now I hear she still wants to go, but it depends on what her doctor says tomorrow. I guess it will all work out somehow.
