I had a thirty minute ride on my schedule today. I took the road bike out, but it didn't sound right. I traded it in for the comfort bike. The weather was fantastic, though a little breezy. It was cool and not too humid. I knot it is supposed to be warm tomorrow morning, so I'm glad I went out today.
I rode to Mobile Hwy, on Pine Forest to Blue Angel, back to Mobile Hwy, and into Beulah. Then I turned around and rode to Blue Angel and then to Bellview. It was an 8.12 mile ride and I did it in 40:41, for an average pace of 12mph. It was interesting looking at the splits. I could see exactly which miles I was going into the wind (10mph) and with the wind (16mph).
I am going to see if Bikes Plus or Cycle Sports offers a bike maintenance/repair class. I should learn a little about how to care for my bike if I am going to be riding it more.
