A taste of what is to come

I ran this morning. It was supposed to be an easy 50 minute run. I set out and this was a difficult run. I thought I was going slow, per coach's direction. It felt like I was walking fast, not running. The weather was hot, foggy, and humid. And this was at 7am. I am dreading the weather coming up. I think the temperature is only in the low 70s, but it felt hotter. The humidity was at 100% and it was thick. The fog lifted for the most part when the sun came out.

Anyway, I ran 4.48 miles in 48:16. Splits were 10:45, 10:47, 10:51, 10:46, 5:07 (=10:45 pace).

The good news is that Tawny did not get into any trouble while I was gone.
