Aaahhhh! What a relief! I left the house, walked past a few houses and then came back. I was gone two minutes. I praised Tawny for being a good girl and let her out again. Then I left for real. I ran the whole time with fingers and toes crossed. That was somewhat uncomfortable, but worth it!
I did 4.08 miles in a little under 46 minutes for an average pace of 11:15. Splits were 11:08, 11:17, 11:23, 11:17, 51s. I was really happy that my foot didn't bother me. It is still a bit sore, but Leah really worked some magic on it yesterday. I was really, really happy that I could run today. I'll roll it tonight and see how it does tomorrow. I may run tomorrow and Thursday to try and get some miles in before I go so I can run less up there and spend more time with family.
Anyway, when I got back Tawny was a good girl and didn't touch anything! What a relief!! There's hope yet!
