HMT Week 2 Day 1

Today was the first day of the second week of my third half marathon training. We did a nice and easy three miles around the neighborhood. We got the hill workout in, as we live at the top of the hill, so it doesn't matter which street we take, we start down and end up. It was a good run.

I was feeling a little more inspired inside this morning. Last night I unpacked my running awards. I had the two finisher medals from the two half marathons and the Fiesta 10k, my 3rd place place medal from the Tiger Trot 10k, and my 1st place ribbon from the Flag Day 5k. I was smiling as I reminisced. Soon I'll have another finisher medal from the Big Sur Half.

We ran 3.0 miles in 31:55 for an average pace of 10:38. Splits: 10:39, 10:25, 10:49.
