We ran the Tailhook 5k Fun Run this morning. We met at The Nugget and took the bus to the Sparks Marina. The course was 1-3/4 laps around the path. It was a good run, though I may have been able to push it a little more. The temps were in the mid 50s and it was sunny. Reno's altitude is around 4500', so I was feeling that. The Reno Hot Air Balloon Festival is this weekend. It was neat to see all the balloons go up in the air.
I ran 3.14 miles in 28:41 for an average pace of 9:09. Splits: 9:00, 9:06, 9:21, 1:15 (=9:10 pace).
