Yesterday Bill and I went to rent a self-storage unit to get some of the stuff out of the way. We are tripping over boxes, but we have been really good about taking each thing out and deciding whether it is a keep, sell, or throw away. All the things we want to sell went in the unit yesterday. Five dish barrels and two 4.5 cu ft boxes. We also moved all the empties to the yard, so we have a lot more room in here in which to work.
At the storage place we asked Marion for a recommendation for places to eat. She mentioned that the "Bi-Rite" just down the street was excellent for "sammiches". We decided to drive by and see it on the way out. It was a little corner grocery, advertising deli sandwiches. We decided to give it a try. I had a plain ol' cheese sandwich, but it was really good! It so hit the spot, even though it was simple. It was probably the best cheese sandwich I have had in a very, very long time. What a pleasant surprise! I know I will be back there for lunch again.
