So I got up this morning ready and rarin' to go! The pain in the TMJ is for all intents and purposes gone, though my left side is still sore from the acupuncture needle. I decided to start Day One Week One of the Bridge to 10k program, which is specifically designed for C25k grads. I was really excited.
I got through the first interval OK. The pounding from the running hurt my jaw a little at first. The sore spot, that is. But in the second interval I got knee pain. It progressively got worse and I decided to suspend the run just before the end of the second interval. I am hoping that tomorrow will be better.
But I am encouraged by the improvement in my jaw! Perhaps one of these days nothing will hurt.
