A good end to a good week

The week at the shop has been good. Today was a good day, too. I didn't get a lot of customers, but I did make some good sales. I thought I was going to fall asleep at times today, mostly from waking up so early and running the race, but partly from boredom.

The dogs were amazing today. I left them at the shop around 6:20 or so when I left for the run. They were angels and waited patiently for me to return. I got back to the shop around 10. I took a shower and was able to open on time. I had considered not opening at all, but I changed my mind on that because of closing the shop at the end of the month. I had put a note on the door saying that I'd open around 1:00, because I didn't know when I'd be back.

I have been sneezing quite a bit today and I'm not sure why. I don't know if 1) there's something in the air, 2) being out in the cold today with a runny nose is carrying over, or 3) I'm getting sick. I hope it isn't #3. There are two illnesses going around. One is a 24 hour bug and the other has been taking people two and three weeks to get over. I'm talking healthy, in-shape people. I certainly don't want that!

Tomorrow I'm going to see the Cirque du Soleil show in Mobile with Teresa. It should be a lot of fun. After the show I have to stop at Wellslee's (the yarn shop in Mobile). It is about a mile from the venue and Susan is buying some of my stock. I thought it would be easy to do a drop-off, since I will be right there. She is having a Super Bowl Sunday sale so the shop will be open. It is perfect. I hope Teresa will indulge me. We should be able to get home in time for the Super Bowl or just after kickoff. I guess I should set the myth box to record it so I don't miss any commercials.

I think it will be a fun day tomorrow and I hope that my feet will still be pain free!
