Intervals = fun!

This was a great run! It started out awesome, even before I ran! As I was waiting to cross the street to get to my start point, a car stopped and the driver rolled down the window. "How much weight have you lost?" I said 20 pounds. He said, "I can tell! I remember when you started. Good for you!" I just had to smile. That just made my day!

Today's run was a two mile easy warm up, 4x 30 seconds hard followed by 2 minutes easy, and a one mile cool down.

I had negative splits on my intervals!! Woo hoo!!

When I got home, my neighbor Barbara asked what have I been doing to look so good. She also commented that I have lost a lot of weight. I told her it was all the running. I offered for her to join Tawny and me when we start the C25k in April.

So what is everyone talking about? It's hard to take a picture of yourself, but I think this may give you the idea.
