It was a really good run for me this morning. I felt like I was flying. I used RunKeeper (an iPhone app) for the first time today. The phone was on my arm so it was not convenient to monitor it, so I just ran. I ran at a pace that I thought was pushing it some, but still comfortable. It turns out that I was going a little slower than my planned half marathon pace. That is great! Now I know what that pace feels like and it is comfortable.
I ran 5.05 miles in 50:34 for an average pace of 10:00. Splits: 10:17, 10:00, 9:52, 10:03, 9:59. The final 0.05 was at a 7:28 pace. It is great to end on a downhill!
