Mina and Ty brought some gifts with them this morning. I bottle of Cab Sav, homemade banana bread, and a beautiful handmade card. That was a great way to start the day. I plan to bring both the wine and the bread with us this afternoon.
I made Bill breakfast this morning. Not in bed, but that's OK. In fact it was probably the best omelet I've ever made! I think that started his day off right, too
After the run I went to get my Tdap shot and then took the dogs to the kennel. It will probably cost us more to board the dogs than for us to go to the hotel, but that's OK. I am sorry that I can't let them participate in group play, but until Tawny's stitches come out on Monday, she can't play with others.
After that I went to Whole Foods and got some crusty french bread and some cheese. I plan on having a picnic tonight! Thanks to the Nekos, we have some great wine to go along with that.
So today the FedEx guy is supposed to deliver my new iPhone. Unfortunately we may not be here for it and I'll have to get it Monday. Bummer. That would be a good birthday present. Oh, did I forget to mention that it is my birthday this weekend? Woo hoo! Let's celebrate!
