So I got my training plan from my coaches and today was the first day. The plan looks like it is going to be a good one. It was supposed to be an easy run, forty minutes at an 11:30 or slower pace. Surprisingly, I had trouble going that slowly! I did 3.62 miles in 40:00 for an average pace of 11:04. Average HR = 159, avg cadence = 79. Splits were 10:56, 11:17, 11:02, 6:46. It sure felt good to run again!
