I saw Cherryl this afternoon and she worked on my feet. Hoo boy! I thought my feet were better. Nope. She found knots, tightness, and "crunchies" in the arches. She was also able to show me exactly that the fascia was inflamed. Wow. I had no idea! I thought I was feeling better. She worked them and worked them and worked them! I was writhing in agony. But it is important to heal and this is going to help.
Cherryl did mention that there is the possibility of a bone spur, but we decided that it probably wasn't since my feet felt better. If it had been a bone spur or injury, I think it would hurt just as bad today as it did last weekend.
So she showed me a few ways to work out the crunchies. We agreed that this will take a while. I know the pain has been going on a while. It isn't going to go away at the drop of a hat. Next time I see Leah I am going to have to get her to really work the feet. Cherryl offered to work them also.
Afterwards we went for a walk in Navy Point Park with the dogs. The weather was beautiful. I really should be cleaning, but I have no motivation to do so, other than I'm tired of looking at the mess. But the "big game" is on and I'm pulling for the Jets. I'm also hoping to Skype with Monica. Maybe I'll grab a snack and a beer and put my feet up. I can always clean later!
