No, I'm not going to count each run. Today's run was good. The weather was a little on the cool side, but mostly due to the 15 mph North winds. The temps were in the mid 40s but the sun was shining.
I tried to calibrate the footpod. It failed the first time and then calibrated the second time. I don't feel that I have a completely accurate record of today's run, but who cares? I got out there and did it. That's what matters.
I did 6.25 miles in 1:10:11 for a pace of 11:13 or so. My cadence averaged around 82.
The problem with the run was that I am lacking motivation all of a sudden. My first half marathon is in six days -- at Disney! -- and I am feeling like running is a chore. Like I don't want to do it. I wanted to stop after two miles and say, ah, I'll rest for the race. Then I said just do one more. And one more. It seemed like a job. I don't know if this is normal or if there's something wrong with me. I hope I'll get over it soon. Like I said, I only have six days.
