Today was pretty good. I ran a few errands, including getting a new light switch at Home Depot. It seems the switch in the spare bath went bad. I would turn it on and it would go out a few seconds later and I'd have to wiggle the switch to turn it back on. This was getting old. So I got a replacement switch and changed it out, all by myself.
The yarn for the sample came in today. Or maybe yesterday, but I saw it on the porch this afternoon. I sent a few questions to the designer and got started on it.
Angela invited a few ladies from the knitting group to her house this evening for some pizza and to hang out. We ordered Bella Luna pizza (yum!) and had wine. It was a fun evening. Unfortunately the sample is not something I can easily knit at a group, so I started the second sock for the test knit.
When I came home I played with the kitties for a few minutes. They are so much fun to watch. I think tomorrow I will set up the dog crate in the living room and put them in there. That way everyone can see everyone else. I think it will be a good thing. I won't keep them in there all the time, but for a few hours each day it should be fine.
I should get some sleep. I have a relatively long run scheduled for tomorrow and I need to start it early. I think no matter what time I start it, it will be hot. I think our forecast low is 80. I need to go before the sun comes above the tree line. We'll see. I'll do the best I can.
