Rip it, rip it

Last night I worked on the sweater. I thought I was making good progress. I put it away after I had gotten to the waist. This morning I pulled it out and realized that I had done increases instead of decreases. Ack! The only way to fix that is to rip it back. So back we went. It took nearly four hours to knit it and around five minutes to take it out. Poop. I was able to get back to the place I was plus around 10 rows before I put it away this afternoon.

The I ran McGuire's with Jen. It was a lot of fun, despite the heat. I really enjoy running with her. She's a pretty cool person. After the run we went to dinner, as usual, but this time we went to the Wine World Wine Bar. The food and wines were excellent. It was a bit of a treat, but we really enjoyed ourselves. We talked and talked and by the time we thought we should go, it was 9:00! I thought it was only around 8. We made plans to take the dogs to the beach sometime this week, which will be a lot of fun.

I had confided in her about the swimming lessons. I even told her about my upcoming tris. She cannot believe it. Now she is thinking about doing the July one. She didn't realize they could be so short. I hope she will consider doing one this summer, whether it is one I'm here for or not.
