We headed out early Friday, but not quite as early as we had intended. We hit the road and started the trek to Tannenbaum. We got through Little Rock and then to the Walmart in Heber Springs. We stopped there to do some of the shopping. There was a thunderstorm, so I stayed in the coach with Tawny and Rava. Tawny was pretty good, but I think that was only because I was with her. We did not look for a bike rack, nor did we get our America the Beautiful card.
We loaded up all the items into the coach and then headed the last few miles to Drasco. We missed the turn so we had to go further and turn around. When we made the turn our phone rang. A little voice said, "Excuse me, could you drive a little faster?" It was our niece, Vivian. Apparently they turned right behind us. How cute!
We made it to the house with no issues and parked the coach. When we opened the door we saw that the printer had fallen on the groceries and crushed a few things. Ugh. We haven't tried the printer again to see if it will work. I hope it will!
Our big problem now is that we are running the a/c on an undersized cord. When we go back to Walmart this afternoon, we will look for either an adapter for the 20amp cord we have, or a higher rated cord. I wish we had been able to plug right in. That would have been better. Oh well. Live and learn.
It has been nice seeing the family and spending time with them. It is going to be a fun week!
Mileage for the day = 157
Total mileage = 741
