According to the schedule today was a brick. According to MPI, short runs after rides are "transition runs" not "bricks". I didn't get the opportunity to finish my workout on Saturday, which was my first brick, so that became today's workout.
Anyway, I rode 9.57 miles in 41:02 for an average of 14 mph. It was a really nice ride. There was one idiot on the road,, but luckily he heard me yelling at him and he stopped. The weather was quite humid, but not as hot. Maybe that's just because I got an early start.
Then I changed to my running shoes and headed out. I was extremely consistent on this run. The pace line in the garmin software was a flat line. I only remember one other run that had such consistency on the pace. I ran 2.00 miles in 21:11 for an average pace of 10:36. Splits were 10:35 and 10:37.
My legs felt a little wobbly. I am guessing it is because I ran last night and so there hasn't been much rest time in between. It was a really good workout. I'm exhausted and just want to go to sleep, but I have a full day on tap. I've got a lesson to teach this morning and I must do more packing preparations.
