Monday started out great. As we did errands and things to get ready to go, things started downhill. Tawny peed on our bed while we were out. Luckily I had learned from all of Marco's incidents to have a vinyl waterproof cover on the mattress. We went to Angela's for dessert and to do laundry.
Tuesday morning I took Bill to his appointment and then went to do the rest of our laundry, including the cushy mattress pad, which didn't get washed the night before for time. I did a bunch of loads and then headed back to the coach to drop them off and to check on Tawny. The storms looked like they were coming in. What did I find? That she had peed on the sheets I had washed the night before. I was livid! I probably scared off most of the other RV park customers. That caused me a breakdown. I sat at the dinette and cried. I just bawled and bawled. The frustration was too much. I gave Tawny a Xanax and put her in her Thundershirt. I also put the pegboard that separates our room from the rest of the coach back in position.
I picked Bill up and we went to lunch. Then I took him back and headed out to wash the sheets. I did a few other errands, but then went to pick him up. Then we were going to do the last few errands at the house together. I took him back to the coach and he went in to find that Tawny had not only peed on the bed, which now only had the vinyl mattress cover on it, but had also pooped on it! I thought I couldn't get any more upset than I had been that afternoon. Nope. I was so mad I couldn't see straight. The drugs, the shirt, and the barrier didn't seem to make a difference.
Thankfully we could just throw away the cover. The mattress was completely spared. In the time it took to clean it up and figure out what to do with her, we were going to miss the McGuire's run. Bummer! We decided to take the dogs with us to dinner after, since we weren't sure what else Tawny would do. We had a great time at the Wine Bar with Jen, Chris, and Jackie. Jen C joined us for a few minutes too. I will miss them a lot. They have become good friends as well as running buddies.
After dinner we came home and I just crashed.
