It has been almost a week since I ran last! My foot is still swollen and painful from the fire ant bites, but I went anyway. My brother-in-law, Adam, said he was going for a run and asked if anyone wanted to join him. I am glad that I did. I had a great run with him. We chatted about this, that, and the other, and it was quite a nice time. I really enjoyed our conversation. I look forward to running with him again both during the reunion and then again when we are in Colorado.
We did a nice and easy 3.53 miles in 37:38 for an average pace of 10:40. It was a good pace for me; I hope it wasn't too slow for him. Splits: 10:32, 10:58, 10:30, 5:38 (=10:40 pace).
