Day Four of the big trip west

Saturday was the first full day at the reunion. I started it with a run with my brother-in-law and then I took a dip in the lake. Judy and Adam (my sister-in-law and brother-in-law) and I went back down to the Walmart to pick up a few more items for the dinner that night and for the rest of the week.

The dinner that night was a huge success. We did a make-your-own burrito bar. There was rice, two kinds of beans, chicken, corn, lettuce, zucchini, tomatoes, salsa, guacamole, onions, cucumbers, cheese, and a few others I can't remember. It was really good. And there were margaritas, too! For dessert we did a make your own sundae. The ice cream melted quickly, so it was more of an ice cream soup. Tasty, nonetheless.

It was great talking to the relatives and getting to know them. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening. I look forward to tonight's dinner and time with the people here.

Mileage: none that I'm going to count.
