Here's what they wrote:
What I really wrote in the email was:
I cannot thank you enough for such an awesome session this morning! Your support, patience, caring, positive reinforcement, willingness to start at the beginning and take it slowly, and your winning attitude helped me realize that with a lot of work and a good attitude I CAN overcome my fear of the water and learn to swim!
What I love is that they so carefully edited it so that no one would know that I don't know how to swim and that I am afraid of the water (except for anyone who reads this blog). Yet, I still come across as being so happy with my coaching. No one is any the wiser, and it looks just like a testimonial from a good swimmer. Mark and John rock! Like I said earlier, they have set the bar so high, I don't think I will ever have a coach as caring and as awesome as either of these two. I really like that they pay as much attention to me, a recreational athlete struggling to improve as they do an elite athlete who can do a sub-10 Ironman.
