I took the bike out today for a nice ride. The weather was good although I know it is going to heat up today. I slept in a bit and didn't go until 8:30. I rode out of the campground and onto the main roads. I was a little nervous about the drivers but as it turns out, they were all good. Everyone passed me by crossing the yellow line and several had to slow down and wait until oncoming traffic was clear. No one seemed to be visibly annoyed by this. It is sad that this is so surprising.
I rode 8.85 miles in 44:48 for an average speed of 11.9 mph. I had the comfort bike because I wasn't sure what conditions I'd have for riding.
