Great trip

I have been having so much fun here, I don't want to leave! Monica and Dave have been great hosts and little baby E is such a doll! I am really enjoying hanging with her.

Her baptism was yesterday and she did so well. She was alert and smiling. The other babies were either asleep or crying. After the ceremony we came back for the party. I think it went really well. I took over the kitchen and let Monica and Dave visit with the guests. I didn't get to spend as much time with my folks and sisters as I would have liked, but it was a short visit.

I did get to play with my other nieces and nephew. Well, Angelo was standoffish as usual, but Angie and Gianna -- especially Gianna -- were fun. I danced around with Gianna for what seemed like hours. Well, when you're carrying around 50 pounds, fifteen minutes seems like a lifetime! But it was so much fun. I know I don't get to see them often, so whenever I do, I want to take the time to bond with them. I want them to remember me and remember me fondly.

Today my friend Jenn and maybe Caroline are coming down from Newport to visit. I'm excited to see them. Jenn wants to run a half with me, but we can't seem to figure out when. I haven't seen Caroline in ages. It should be a nice visit, whatever we end up doing.

Unfortunately I have to leave here around 5am tomorrow. I will be so sad to go. This has been a wonderful trip. I don't want to go!
