Up and down

That was my morning. I had a great bike ride and things were looking up. Then I got in the truck to go to class and the check engine light came on. I decided to take the truck for a few reasons, but not the least of which was that I wanted to fill it up before I go out tomorrow. I hit the OnStar button and the agent said that the trouble code had something to do with the powertrain. I pulled back in the driveway and took the Honda. That was a down. Not that I took the Honda, but the fact that I want to take the coach out tomorrow and having problems is a bummer. At least I discovered it today rather than tomorrow or on the drive.

I was supposed to drop by Angela's after class as her mom is in town and her new puppy ate the heel of her sock. I had to postpone that. Right before I left, Liz was walking Sophie around and so I let the pups play with her for a few minutes. We made a date to go to the beach this afternoon. That will be an up. I may have to postpone that, depending on the truck. That is, unless Liz wants to drive us, and then possibly take me back to Pete Moore.

I took the truck in after my INCREDIBLE swim lesson, another up moment. While they are looking at the truck I asked them to check the back window switches in the driver door. I have a hard time getting them to work, but if I use the switch in the back doors, they work fine. I realize that's out of warranty, but it would be nice to have them fixed.

I wonder what is in store the rest of the day.
