Took the dogs out this morning. The weather was in the low 60s and really nice. I think they were happy to be out. We are going to change our route. We were nearly attacked by a dog that got most of the way out from under the chain link fence in its yard. That scared the crap out of me! Thankfully the owner was outside, and I told him about the fence, but I think we should just avoid that spot altogether.
We did 1.83 miles in 29:03.
Then I dropped the dogs off and went out for my run. I was supposed to do 20 minutes warm up and 20 minutes at a pace somewhere between easy and hard. Since I ran the dogs, I only did a 10 minute warm up and that was at a 10:59 pace. Then I did 20 minutes at a 9:49 pace. Altogether I ran 2.95 miles in 30:04 for an average pace of 10:11.
That's a total of 4.78 miles for the day. I probably would have hit 5 miles even if I had logged my walk back home :-)!
