Success!

I made it! I did the whole trip by myself without incident! I am really proud of myself!

Yesterday, we did all the usual things, eat, read, knit, go to the lake, take a train ride, take an after dinner walk. It was fantastic. I have really appreciated this time by myself to refocus and regain perspective. I have spent much of this trip looking inside and trying to figure out who I am and who I am going to become. I have reflected on how far I have come over the years. It has been really good.

I was able to do everything I needed to do in order to get ready to leave. I did have some trouble with the dump, but only because our sewer outfall is so low and the inlet was so high. It too a lot longer to take care of that. I hooked up the truck and was able to disentangle the coach from the tree. There doesn't appear to be too much in the way of damage. I headed out, taking a different (better) route home, got to the storage yard, and parked the coach in almost the exact same position. It did take a while to back the coach in, I will admit. It probably was quite funny to anyone watching. But I did it and I'm happy.

Then we came back here and I dropped everyone off in the a/c while I went back and unloaded everything from the coach and brought it back in the house. Angela invited me over for dinner, which was really sweet. I brought a few turk'y burgers and went over. It was a nice dinner and good to see her again. It has been a while.

Now I'm back and I need to get cranking on some knitting. I got the pattern from Melissa and it is a sweater. A SWEATER that has to be done in four weeks. I anticipate that I will get the yarn in the next few days, so I want to at least get this first sock that I'm test knitting complete before that gets here. I think I have around six hours of work to do on it. I'll have to go back and see what Hunter's deadline is. I seem to remember that she wanted the first sock done by June 10. I don't think it was both by that day, or I think I would have skipped that knit. I am excited about both projects.
