I had to ship out a few orders today. That is great news. I think the ads on Ravelry are working for me. Unfortunately I don't have a way of confirming that. I see that several of the recent referral URLs are from the Ravelry yarn pages, so it is quite likely. I may increase my budget and turn on the ad again later in the month and see if business spikes.
I decided to take the dogs for a ride. They haven't been out in the truck in weeks and neither have I. It was nice. First we went for diesel. The tank was at around 1/4 so I didn't need fuel, but I figured that I might just as well. The first station I came to had diesel for less than I had been seeing it the past few days, so I decided to take advantage of it. I pulled in just behind this guy who took up the entire space between the two pumps with his truck and trailer. So I pulled in behind him and turned off the engine and waited. And waited. And waited. Just when I thought he was done, he pulled the nozzle out from the spare tank and put it in the regular tank. The final damage?
Wowza. And I thought filling our truck was expensive.
After that we picked up the yarn we needed and went to the post office. Then we came home. I did laundry and cleaned up around the house a little. The dogs got dinner at 3:45 this afternoon, as I needed to leave by 4:30 in order to make it to the race on time.
They were angels while I was gone, which I really appreciate.
